IMPACTO SOCIOECONÓMICO DEL FÚTBOL PROFESIONAL EN ESPAÑA: COMPARATIVA ENTRE LA LIGA MASCULINA Y FEMENINA (ATENCIÓN A ODS 5)

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza el papel del fútbol profesional en España mediante una comparativa entre la liga masculina y la liga femenina, prestando especial atención al Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 5 (ODS 5) relativo a la igualdad de género. El fútbol constituye una de las actividades deportivas con mayor relevancia económica en España, al tiempo que presenta importantes diferencias salariales entre hombres y mujeres. El estudio pretende ofrecer una visión clara sobre las diferencias existentes entre el fútbol masculino y el femenino, identificando los principales factores que explican la brecha económica y salarial.

This study analyses the role of professional football in Spain through a comparative analysis between the men's league and the women's league, with particular attention to Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5) related to gender equality. Professional football represents one of the sports activities with the greatest economic relevance in Spain, while also presenting significant salary differences between men and women. The study aims to provide a clear understanding of the existing differences between men's and women's football, identifying the main factors that explain the economic and wage gap.
