Abstract
Directly-Follows Graphs (DFGs) have traditionally been used to represent reconstructed processes in process mining. However, recent research has explored the integration of more expressive modelling notations such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). This paper presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), following the guidelines of Kitchenham and Biolchini, to analyse existing process mining tools and the graphical notations they support. The results show that current tools mainly rely on procedural notations such as DFGs, BPMN, and Petri Nets, with limited interoperability between representations and little adaptation to different user profiles, highlighting research opportunities for more user-centred and interoperable graphical modelling approaches.
