The Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games is not just a sporting event but a powerful stage for international diplomacy and national projection. This work explains the political dimension of the games, revealing a consistent historical pattern. The Opening Ceremony serves as a tool for national branding and symbolic diplomacy, carefully crafted to reflect national identity as well as global issues. The Paris 2024 Ceremony illustrates current political controversies and global concerns. Ultimately, the Olympic Games remain as crucial mirror of global society, emphasizing the IOC¿s vital role in fostering peace and unity amidst fragmenting political interests.
