Abstract
This thesis ezamines forced marriages as a form of gender-based violence, analysing legal responses in the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Sweden. It explores how feminist movements have influenced discourse, policy, and advocacy. The study highlights the importance of intersectional, culturally sensitive approaches and critiques the risks of racialising the issue in Western Europe.
