Abstract

The formation of the Ibero-American community is due to the existence of common historical and cultural ties that have been forged over the centuries by the continuous migratory flows on both sides of the Atlantic. Hence, the need to articulate specific Ibero-American regulations in this area, and the path to achieve this has begun. Through international agreements and the approximation of domestic legislation, the countries of the Ibero-American region aim to structure a system for the organisation and regulation of migratory flows in the Ibero-American space. This article aims to highlight the relevance of the Public International Law in the promotion of regulation of the migration phenomenon in iberoamerica.
