The creative process that gathers dispersed matter: audiovisual essay and the editing

Abstract

Our text pertains to the genesis of the audio-visual essay, ‘De la femme’ (Cucinotta and Ramé, 2021): we suggest viewing it prior to engaging with the text (https://tecmerin.uc3m.es/revista-7-4/). The objectives of this audiovisual essay are articulated in an endeavor to translate our reflections into a language conducive to a clearer comprehension of our analysis. We acknowledge that the video-essay possesses specific particularities that establish, favor, and delineate certain materialities which we can utilize to directly explicate the subject of our research. Our aim is to demonstrate how we undertake this task, employing the concept of “thinking with hands” to elaborate on the creative process of our video-essay, “De la femme.”
