Abstract
The decline in reading, which is increasingly common in primary school classrooms, calls for new teaching strategies that connect with the cultural interests of modern students, who are accustomed to living with new technologies. This Final Degree Project aims to analyse the potential of gamification and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as tools to revitalise literary education and encourage reading habits. To this end, a two-phase methodological research project has been developed. First, a theoretical review is carried out to categorise the main intervention models, analysing strategies such as immersive narratives, mission systems and literary escape rooms, as well as the digital tools that support them. Second, an intervention proposal is presented for the first cycle of Primary Education, aimed at integrating the curriculum content of the Spanish Language and Literature subject within a structured, gamified environment. By applying the principles of active learning and making strategic use of technological tools, a teaching sequence has been designed that seeks to make the student the protagonist of their own reading process.
