Abstract

This study focuses on trilingualism and its impact on the linguistic and cognitive development from childhood to adulthood. It explores benefits such as academic performance, mental adaptivity and cultural identity, as well as challenges of using three languages. Based on research, it highlights effective practices in school and family contexts. Through eleven progressive sessions, students will initiate contact with a third language through various language activities. The proposal highlights how knowledge of multiple languages enriches personal experience and fosters interculturality.
