Directores/as: Sara Olavarrieta BernardinoA literature review of the adverse experiences that a child may experience during childhood and the impact that these can have on their development on all levels, but more specifically on the emotional aspect, is carried out. After reviewing these adverse experiences, the paper will focus more specifically on bereavement following the death of a family member of a young child. This is an event to which special attention and care must be given in order to help them develop a healthy mourning process and establish a healthy relationship with death. Finally, a pedagogical proposal is put forward on how to deal with this issue and how to deal with it in the Pre-Primary Education classroom and how as teachers we can contribute to their emotional development being as complete and healthy as possible in order to form future adults without limitations or emotional restrictions derived from bad processes in childhood.engBereavementDeathAdverse experiencesChildhoodLearningPSYCHOLOGICAL IMPACT OF ADVERSE EXPERIENCES DURING CHILDHOOD.
