Supervisors: Francisco Reyes Téllez Ana Reyes MenéndezThis thesis aims to stimulate further academic interest in the many ways that poetry continues to influence and be influenced by the society around it. It is motivated by a desire to ratify the value of the Poetry Slam movement in Spanish society by shedding light on its cultural and educational activities as well as the academic foundations certain collectives within it structure their work on. It will also explore the avenues that poetry, in its oral and written form, afford informal dialects or vernaculars and how the Slam movement provides a welcoming space for them.engAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacionalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Humanities: Language and CultureChallenges in Poetry: From the Educational to the Dialecticalinfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
