The research demonstrates that both TiO2 nanoparticles and their modified forms effectively inhibit bacterial growth. Flow cytometry results indicate a significant interaction between nanoparticles and bacteria, particularly with TiO2 NPs. Under irradiation, TiO2 NPs exhibit superior performance in dye degradation compared to βCD-TiO2 NPs, suggesting their potential application in active packaging for food preservation.en-USAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/β-Cyclodextrin-TiO2 nanoparticlesSorbic acidBenzoic acidAntibacterial activityPhotocatalytic activityPhotocatalytic and antibacterial performance of β-cyclodextrin-TiO2 nanoparticles loading sorbic and benzoic acidsArticle10.1016/j.colcom.2023.100747info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
