Directores/as: Ana Belén Alonso Conde, Teresa FilhóIn today's globalized economy, the internationalization of businesses is not just an option but a necessity, especially for innovative start-ups aiming to expand their footprint. The increasing interconnectedness of markets worldwide means that companies, regardless of their size, must consider international expansion to remain competitive and sustain growth. This project focuses on 2EyesVision, a Spanish deep-tech start-up. Founded with the mission to revolutionize vision correction technology, 2EyesVision has developed the SimVis Gekko, a groundbreaking product designed to significantly improve the quality of life for individuals with vision impairments. The SimVis Gekko stands out in the medical technology sector due to its novel approach and potential to disrupt traditional methods of vision correction. Despite its innovative product, 2EyesVision faces the typical challenges of a start-up, such as limited resources or high market entry barriers. These obstacles are magnified when considering international expansion, making it crucial for the company to formulate effective strategies to overcome them. The central research question guiding this study is: "What are the international trade strategies that 2EyesVision could implement to expand into international markets, and what would be the potential impact of these strategies on the global medical technology market?¿ This question is pivotal as it addresses both the practical aspects of international trade strategy formulation and the broader implications for the global medical technology market. By exploring this question, the study aims to uncover strategies that not only facilitate 2EyesVision¿s growth but also serve as a valuable resource for other start-ups and small companies facing similar challenges, providing a roadmap for successful internationalization.engIOLInternational trade strategiesSimVis GekkoExportDistributorsManufacturersJoint VentureINTERNATIONAL TRADE IN START-UPS: A CASE STUDY OF 2EYESVISION AND ITS PENETRATION IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETSinfo:eu-repo/semantics/studentThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/embargoedAccess
