Directores/as: Berta Alam PérezThe Lebanese Republic, characterized by its vast diversity of ethnic, sectarian and religious groups, and once termed the Switzerland of the Middle East, has undergone a serious deterioration and currently finds itself in a state of uncertainty and polarization. This study addresses the political and economic crisis that has beset the country, focusing on identifying the underlying causal factors and the complex interplay of events that have contributed to the end of the country¿s steadiness. To accomplish this, after a rigorous bibliography review, it is provided an analysis of the state¿s political trajectory over the past century, examining how it has been affected by regional and international dynamics as well as foreign interests.engLebanoncrisisinfluenceinternationaldeadlockconsociationalismUNFOLDING THE CURRENT COMPLEX REALITY OF LEBANONinfo:eu-repo/semantics/studentThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/embargoedAccess
