GEOPOLITICAL STRATEGIES OF CHINA IN THE MIDDLE EAST. THE SOFT POWER.
Abstract
The historical tour of China's foreign policy toward the Middle East, in recent years, has seen a significant increase in relations. China is executing a foreign policy geared towards global leadership in the coming decades. The Middle East has always been a strategic space and, at the same time, constitutes a highly unstable unbalanced multipolar system. In the Middle East, China has strong economic interests that now transcend the traditional interest in oil and are also based on technological investments. The Asian Giant does not want to play an active role in regional conflicts, but it does seek economic and geopolitical influence in the area. A new geopolitical map is emerging that will transform the Middle East in the coming decades.
