The main objective of this study is to provide useful information on the level of knowledge, perceptions, and participation of the sample in relation to sustainable tourism and mass tourism, especially in Turkey. It aims to critically analyse the perceptions and effects of mass tourism in these destinations, to better understand the challenges, they face and find sustainable solutions. To this end, factors such as personal values, educational level and travel experiences will be examined in order to identify which factors influence tourists' willingness to engage in sustainable tourism practices. Tourists' perceptions of the importance of sustainability will be examined and their willingness to adopt responsible behaviour¿s during their stay in these destinations will be assessed.
