dc.description.abstractThe retrospective study involves a group of patients who were diagnosed with breast cancer (BC) and had confirmed positive axillary lymph nodes (ALN) at the beginning of their treatment. These patients underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy as their primary form of treatment. Prior to the start of the treatment, both the breast cancer and the affected axillary node were marked with a coil. After a period of 6 months of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, during the final surgical procedure, the identified lymph node containing the marker coil was removed and analyzed pathologically. The main focus of this project is to explore the potential of radiomic features in predicting the response of axillary lymph nodes to chemotherapy among breast cancer patients with axillary involvement. The objective is to reduce the time required for diagnosis and perform more precise and targeted lymphadenectomies, thereby minimizing potential adverse effects associated with the procedure.
