My experience in the real estate sector has allowed me to understand the importance of adapting housing offers to the changing needs of the population. Nursing homes sit at the intersection of real estate and health care, offering a business model that not only meets the housing needs, but also addresses crucial aspects of the wellbeing of the elderly population. The continuing process of population ageing in Spain will consolidate its position as one of the leading countries in terms of longevity. This phenomenon will be reflected in a significant increase in the dependency ratio, almost doubling in the near future The aim of this project consists of developing a business model for an elderly nursing home in Madrid, based on my experience and my understanding of demographic trends, particularly the ageing of the population.
