dc.description.abstractThe Sahel region has been greately affected by the increase of terrorist violence in the recent years. In the face of weak institutions that the region presents, a high level of international cooperation has been required. This paper is focused on analyzing the causes of the expansion of this violence, as well as focusing on the role of intternational actors and the implementation of their policies in the Sahel.
