Trabajo Fin de Grado leído en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos en el curso académico 2023/2024. Directores/as: Lucía Mantecón Díaz
This project aims to, first, give relevance to a forgotten region as are the Balkans. Then, the projects circles around the study of a paramilitary organization born in Serbia during the Yugoslav Wars: the Arkan Tigers. The essay will try to delve into the fact of whether this organization managed to superceed the Serbian Army during the battles, gainig more importance and Governmental support that the Army itself. On a second lane, it aims to establish whether the principle of equality before the law is actually effective in such cases.
