BENEFICIOS DEL USO DEL CINE EN LA ETAPA DE EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIA

Abstract

Cinema has great educational value at the Primary Education stage as it facilitates the understanding of abstract concepts and encourages critical thinking. Moreover, it is a very attractive, motivating and versatile learning tool for students, which achieves significant learning results, and seeks the enjoyment of students when learning, breaking with traditional teaching schemes. This research explores the different benefits that can be achieved by using cinema as a learning tool in the classroom. It also analyses the possible challenges that may arise when putting into practice this resource, and the challenges faced by the educational community trying to implement it. In addition, a series of guidelines and recommendations for the good use of film in the classroom are presented. All this will be reflected in an intervention project where a didactic proposal is developed which includes different activities and methodologies, taking into account previous research, to make optimal use of film in the classroom.
