The concept of sustainable development has evolved significantly over the past few decades, culminating in the establishing of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations in 2015. Among the 17 SDGs, Goal 10 is particularly significant, focusing on reducing inequality within and among countries. Addressing inequality is crucial for achieving the broader objectives of the 2030 Agenda, as it is related to other development challenges such as poverty, hunger, and lack of access to quality education.
