Resumen

Autism Spectrum Disorder is characterized by deficits in communication and social interaction, along with restrictive and repetitive patterns of behavior, interests or activities, affecting social, individual, educational and occupational areas, which has a direct impact on a series of deficits in the area of emotional recognition. In this Final Degree Project has been studied both the general symptomatology of Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as the deficits in the area of emotional recognition. Emotional recognition is an essential aspect in the development of an enriching and quality life, which affects mental health, both individually and socially. The previous study of this subject has allowed the elaboration of a series of objectives, both general and specific, focused on the development and evolution of this area. These objectives have served as a guide to carry out the elaboration of a didactic proposal, focused on improving and progressing in a significant and personalized way for each student, covering each of the deficiencies and difficulties previously analyzed and personal of each individual. Through this work it is intended to cover a basic and crucial need such as emotional recognition, helping, in addition to these people, families and educators of the environment, being able to affect an improvement of a skill of daily use, creating favorable and beneficial living conditions.
