Resumen

With the recent change in educational law and following European educational trends, terms such as computational thinking and digital competences have been introduced into the competences of early childhood education. Having the opportunity to develop 21st century skills in children not only focusing on technology-related skills. Digital competences are defined as the use of technologies for access to information, communication and content creation and the safe and responsible use of digital tools. Digital skills include the development of computational thinking as a method of solving logical problems. This concept is not new and has been researched for years by different authors, who have shown the potential of using programming language in the infant stage. The implementation of this methodology can be carried out through educational robots, programming language tools by blocks, spatial location and distribution and disconnected or unplugged activities, which can be tailored to the needs and interests of the children and can be integrated into the curriculum to teach different transversal contents. The goal of these concepts is to educate children for the digital era by providing them with the necessary skills to flourish in an environment that is constantly changing. Therefore, the purpose of this work is the elaboration of a learning situation based on the new educational law, to be conducted in the second cycle of infant education in a 5-year-old class working through computational thinking different contents; after carrying out a bibliographical review.
