Resumen
The implementation of improvements and the introduction of more percentage of renewable energy in the energy system, from self-consumption systems to a smart electric grid, would position Spain as a major investment hub, both foreign and domestic, due to its great potential in climatology and resources, among other areas.
With the assistance and goals of the European Union, as well as its own national objectives, Spain would have the capacity to improve the social stability of its citizens, reducing pollution levels, enhancing job opportunities, and creating positions with higher salaries or new roles in industries not yet fully exploited nationally. This, coupled with a more circular economy and increased production capacity, would generate higher tax revenues, thus improving the country¿s fiscal position. Simultaneously, ecosystems would improve, biodiversity would increase, and the quality of natural resources would be enhanced, among other milestones outlined in international environmental treaties.
