Resumen
English is one of the most spoken languages in the world. From the United States to China, English is the language we all gravitate towards to communicate with others. But, when do children need to start learning about this language? Is there a difference between acquiring it when we are younger or when we are older? How do children learn a second language? The present End of Degree project is based on two main sections: the theoretical framework, where these questions are answered (alongside with many others), and a Didactic Programming unit.
In the theoretical framework section of this project, topics such as the early development of children, the acquisition of the mother tongue or the importance of motivation are researched. For the Didactic Programming unit, the topic of family is used and worked on. This unit is fully intended to enlarge this English learning process, with a topic that is overall familiar to the children, keeping them motivated to learn more and expand their knowledge of the language.
