This end of degree project explores an intervention proposal focused on promoting healthy and sustainable eating habits among fourth grade students in a Primary Education school setting. The current lack of knowledge on this topic creates the need to implement methods to develop habits and behaviours from early ages to avoid serious and irreversible consequences in ourselves and in our world. The intention of this proposal consists of integrating active and participative methodologies, particularly Service-Learning, to engage students in learning about nutrition and its impact on individual and community well-being. Grounded in the principles of cross-curricular education and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the proposal aims to foster knowledge about healthy and sustainable eating behaviours, emphasizing in the importance of holistic education and community involvement in addressing global health challenges. Overall, this intervention proposal seeks for students to gain significant learning and empowers them to make informed decisions. By fostering critical thinking and awareness, it contributes to a culture of health and sustainability within the school and broader society.
