Resumen
The purpose of this project is to understand the role that databases have in the selection and recruitment processes in the sports industry. To achieve this objective, research on Barney's Resource Based View (RBV) and Strategic Resources definition and theories on talent acquisition and recruitment was made, alongside a experimental case in which a database was developed to analyze and search for statistical data of the NBA 2023-2024 season, with the intention of finding players who should be considered for a specific team, according to their needs.
