dc.description.abstract | This Final Degree Project explores the importance of children's drawing as a means of expression and integral development in Early Childhood and Primary Education through a literature review. The main objective is to highlight its pedagogical value and promote its effective inclusion in the classroom. Throughout the study, the definitions of drawing according to different authors, its relevance in the classroom, and the stages of drawing development in children are addressed. The impact of copied and free drawing is analysed. In addition, innovative methodologies that encourage creative expression and the use of diverse materials are highlighted. Children's drawing is presented as an essential tool of communication and expression, capable of reflecting the emotions, problems and relationships important in a child's life. Through the analysis of drawings, the emotional state and inner conflicts of children can be revealed, providing a window into the child's soul and allowing for the detection and resolution of problems. The work also reviews various projective graphic tests, which allow the assessment of psychological and emotional aspects of children. Drawing workshops are presented as practical examples of active and creative methodologies in the classroom, based on principles of exploration and play. The importance of teacher training in Art Education is underlined as essential for the correct implementation of these methodologies. This work serves as a guide for educators interested in integrating drawing effectively into the classroom, providing valuable resources for understanding and fostering children's holistic and creative development. In summary, children's drawing is a fundamental tool for the cognitive, emotional and creative development of children. Its proper incorporation into education can offer countless essential opportunities, promoting a full and meaningful education. | |
