Abstract

English in the field of corporations is manifested today as one of the most important phenomena of today's society. It has been continuously developing since the last century as one of the problems in the relationships of professionals with the third parties involved. Globally the growing need has been climbing quickly for an effective communication in many fields, and the pólice and military has followed this trend. So nowadays, communication between multicultural forces prevails and, obviously, the English language has become the universal channel as it had been doing for the past years. The armed forces are faced with the need to cover constant and highly varied linguistic requirements, especially in the international sphere. The training, recycling and updating plans that are carried out by professionals from variated work environments have led to different strategies and results depending on the country, sector or company.
