PSYCHOMOTOR PRACTICE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CHILDREN AT RISK OF SOCIAL EXCLUSION INTERVENTION PROPOSAL FOR PSYCHOMOTOR SESSIONS FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CHILDREN AT RISK OF SOCIAL EXCLUSION
Zusammenfassung
The intervention proposal aims to design and implement a psychomotor program for preschool children facing social exclusion. The overarching goal is to address the specific needs of this vulnerable group through targeted psychomotor interventions. To achieve this, the project outlines three specific objectives: conducting research on psychomotor skills and their link to social exclusion, designing a tailored psychomotor intervention program based on research findings, and integrating storytelling into sessions to enhance cognitive, emotional, and social development. In the context of early childhood education, where numerous factors can hinder children's holistic development, psychomotor skills emerge as vital tools for supporting and including at-risk children. Through movement, play, and sensory exploration, psychomotor activities aim to enhance physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills, laying the foundation for holistic development. The proposed psychomotor project targets a group of 20 at-risk preschoolers and spans a two-month period, comprising weekly hour-long sessions led by experienced early childhood educators. Moreover, the project's final evaluation coincides with December's festive and familial events, facilitating family involvement and reinforcing the importance of social inclusion and empathy. To ensure a comprehensive evaluation of children's progress, the project collaborates with counselors or social workers, who participate in both the initial and concluding sessions. Ultimately, the psychomotor project seeks to create a supportive and stimulating environment where at-risk children can explore their potential, enhance their skills, and foster positive peer relationships. By fulfilling the outlined objectives, the project aims to promote comprehensive development and social inclusion among these vulnerable children, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
