dc.description | In this paper we study two different properties related to the consistency of a family of aggregation operators: Stability and structural relevance. The stability property for a family of aggregation operators tries to force that such a family has a stable/continuous definiteness in the sense that the aggregation of n elements should be similar to the aggregation of n + 1 elements as long as the last element is the aggregation of the previous n elements. of the previous n elements. Following this idea some definitions and results are given. The second concept presented in this paper is related to the construction of an aggregation operator when the data to be aggregated possess an inherent structure. In our opinion, the idea and definition of consistency of an aggregation family should also take into account the structure of the data. Data structure refers to the relative position of the information units. Some preliminary ideas can be found in previous work, in which the structure of a set of fuzzy classes is included in order to distinguish between some apparently similar situations that, however, present different ones. In other fields, such as probability theory, it is clear that the estimation process depends on the structure of the data used. For example, in order to forecast tomorrow’s weather, the information about today’s weather is more relevant than the information about yesterday’s weather. These situations are usually represented as a lineal structure (as in a time series) or by means of graph (as in Markov chains). | es |
dc.description.abstract | Aggregation functions have been widely studied in literature. Nevertheless, few efforts have been dedicated to analyze those properties related with the family of operators in a global way. In this work, we analyze the stability in a family of aggregation operators The stability property for a family of aggregation operators tries to force a family to have a stable/continuous definition in the sense that the aggregation of n − 1 items should be similar to the aggregation of n items if the last item is the aggregation of the previous n − 1 items. Following this idea some definitions and results are given. | es |
