Populismo, inmigración e innovación democrática

Abstract

This text exposes that the current migratory issue and the astonishing emergence of far-right populist parties, is fed by a triple fracture (economic, cultural and political), which comes, in turn, from the institutional abandonment that broad social groups are suffering. Consequently, the text propose to protect the population in these three dimensions, as a remedy to populism and the immigration conflict. Finally, it argues that it is urgent to implement new democratic representative institutions, especially of a stochastic nature, in order to adapt the democratic process to the new challenges of the global society.
