Abstract

The transmission of curricular contents requires active pedagogical methodologies that facilitate the teaching-learning processes. To meet the educational demands and needs, it is necessary to introduce active methodologies such as Project Based Learning (PBL), which allows acquiring knowledge and developing skills through the design, organization and presentation of a project. The uniqueness of this methodology facilitates an interdisciplinary approach, integrating various interpretative frameworks and learning processes such as creative activity in spaces that are not limited only to the traditional classroom, but to other spatial and conceptual contexts such as museums, boosting interaction with the artistic work and critical thinking of students. In this sense, such interactions can be considered as Participatory Artistic Practices (PAP), which bring about problem solving, self-knowledge, collaborative learning and an increased awareness of the environment. This confirms the effectiveness of active methodologies such as Project Based Learning (PBL), which encourages artistic action and research.
