In later years, the absence of women in power and creation posts in the dance world has been explained in ways that do not always reflect the historical truth behind our artistic heritage. In this chapter, by using Miranda Fricker's theory on Epistemic Injustice, I will try to elicit some of the reasons why new discourses have been created in order to explain women's disappearance from power and creation roles.
