dc.description.abstractThis study explores the modification of TiO2 nanoparticles with β-cyclodextrin (βCD) food preservative complexes, enhancing their antimicrobial efficacy. The research demonstrates that both TiO2 nanoparticles and their modified forms effectively inhibit bacterial growth. Flow cytometry results indicate a significant interaction between nanoparticles and bacteria, particularly with TiO2 NPs. Under irradiation, TiO2 NPs exhibit superior performance in dye degradation compared to βCD-TiO2 NPs, suggesting their potential application in active packaging for food preservation.
