| dc.description.abstract | The institutions in charge of princely works at the Royal Geographies in Europe, played crucial roles, because they fulfilled a number of functions that were adapted or modified over time in accordance with the particularities and evolution of each kingdom and the architectural policy developed by their princes. Many of these institutions have yet to be studied in any depth. This chapter focuses on the institutions of the Iberian kingdoms, with a comparative perspective, specifically to France and England. | |
