Abstract

This paper addresses the various obstacles that hinder educational innovation, particularly in the context of governance. Through a comprehensive bibliographic review, the study aims to identify, analyse, and propose solutions to overcome the challenges faced by educational institutions in implementing innovative practices. The review reveals that cultural elements such as individualism, lack of motivation, and dual curricula are significant barriers to effective innovation. Additionally, the lack of institutional support and the impact of bureaucratic hurdles play a major role in impeding progress. Understanding these obstacles is critical to fostering effective leadership and policy development that support innovation in education.
