Resumen
Student engagement is essential for academic success, particularly for "at-risk" students who face challenges such as academic difficulties, absenteeism, and psychological issues. Key factors influencing engagement include self-efficacy, learning strategies, and teacher-student interaction. Active learning methods, such as group discussions and cooperative learning, are contrasted with traditional lectures, highlighting the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on online teaching and the integration of educational technologies.
The research methodology involved a detailed literature analysis, utilizing tools like word clouds and theoretical framework analysis to identify key themes. Prominent themes include motivation, creativity, pedagogical tools, and educational technology. The study revealed the importance of a holistic approach to education, incorporating experiential learning methods and addressing the profound impact of global events on teaching and learning practices.
